Sharon Lynn Asher, age 57, of Fairmont, WV passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at her residence. She was born June 16, 1959 at Fairmont, WV, a daughter of late Robert Clifton Higgins Sr. and Isabelle May Parrish Higgins. She is survived by her husband of 19 years of marriage, Harry Paul Asher of Fairmont; two sons; Brian Asher and Carlos Gonzalez of San Antonio, TX; 3 siblings, Robert Higgins and wife Burnetta of Plum Run, WV, Carolyn Higgins of Mohans Run, and Lucille Parker and husband Terry of Mohans Run; a brother-in-law and wife, Robert and Ethel Jane Martin of Rymer, WV; a sister-in-law, Delene Higgins of Fairmont; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert Clifton Higgins Jr. and Jerry Higgins; a son, Scott Allan Asher; and a brother-in-law, Harvey Roupe. Sharon enjoyed attending church at the Llewelyn Baptist Church. She also enjoyed going to yard sales, shopping and collecting knick-knacks. Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St. in Mannington on Monday, March 27th from 2-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 28th at 11am with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. Interment will follow at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton, WV.
