William Edward Yoak, age 61, of Mannington, WV, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at his residence. He was born June 30, 1955, at Fairmont, WV, a son of the late Robert Scott Yoak and Ethel Mae Stevens Yoak. William is survived by his 2 brothers, Robert Scott (Jill Ann) Yoak of Parkersburg and John D. Yoak of Parkersburg; 2 nieces, Samantha Lynn Gault of Mineral Wells, WV and Cassandra Ann Yoak of Parkersburg; 4 great-nieces and nephews, Ava Cool, Sidney Cool, Quinn Cool and Zayde Whitaker. William was employed at Corwin Ford in Mannington for several years as a parts manager. He attended Webster College where he obtained a Medical Assistant Degree. He had worked in Home Health in Marion County. He was musically talented having won the John Phillips Souza Award for playing the trumpet at Mannington High School where he was a 1973 graduate. He also enjoyed his CB radio. Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, Mannington, WV on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 2-6:00pm with a funeral service beginning at 6:00pm with Pastor Greg Roth officiating.
