Tom was born January 23, 1927, the son of Eli Spencer and Rosa Mae (Leasure) Villers. On June 14, 1947 he married the love of his life, Doris Rose Thomas, and celebrated their 70th anniversary in 2017. To their union was born two children, Grover Thomas Villers, Jr.
