Carol Sue Higgins, age 64, of Mannington, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. She was born March 31, 1960 at Fairmont, a daughter of the late Ray and Eileen Ashcraft.
Carol is survived by her husband Roger Higgins, her brother Dave Ashcraft of Warren, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

She was born March 4, 1936 near Mannington, a daughter of the late Harold and Feme Jackson Boyles. She was a graduate of Mannington High School, Class of 1954 and a graduate of the B.M. Spurr School of Practical Nursing in Glendale.

Edgar Leo LeMasters Jr., age 74 formerly of Grafton Rd., Morgantown, WV went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 2, 2024 after a long illness. He was born in Mannington, WV on July 4, 1949, a son to the late Edgar Leo and Elma Lambert LeMasters.

Janet Lou Lough, age 81, of Metz, WV, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at WVU Hospital in Morgantown. She was born December 1, 1942 at Clare, Michigan, a daughter of the late Raymond and Madalyn Martin Ferguson. Janet is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Brian) Vingle of Concord, NC, two sons, Tim (Linda) Lough of Woodbridge, VA and Kevin (Lori) Lough of Littleton, WV.
Susan Belle Myers, age 80 of Rachel, WV passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born March 24, 1944 on Road Fork Rd., Joetown, WV a daughter of the late Kenneth Ray Michael and Beatrice Irene Michael.
Mary Louise Fletcher of Farmington, WV passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024. She was born May 30, 1928, the oldest daughter of Lionel McDougal and Gladys Lucinda White McDougal and married James “Jimmy” Robert Fletcher Sr. raising one daughter, Betty Jo Barber and 3 sons, Timothy A. Fletcher, James “Bob” R. Fletcher Jr., and John D. Fletcher.
Charles W. “Bud” Smith, 73, of Farmington, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, March 15th, 2024 at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown after a short, but very brave bout with pancreatic cancer. Bud was born September 24th, 1950 in Glen Dale, WV, a son of the late Jack and Irene Poland Smith.
